A part of the network module in development will be removed (packet management...). We prefer to specialize O3D only on the 3D and authoring. There is many powerfull langages and tools in way to develop the network part of an online game (such as Erlang, Python stackless...). Developers and forum sections are opened, and are waiting for you now.

The project become under GPL. A Trac interface will replace the actual wiki and a forum will be re-installed too. The SVN will be so public in update, and some regulars builds should be available.
This resolution have been taken by the developpers of Objective-3D, and we think that is a good choice.

We made another approach for mesh data exportations: scene exportations have to be done through an intermediary O3DIF file. This format is designed to facilitate the creation of an exporter in your favorite 3d modeling software. The 3dsmax plugin will be removed, and replaced by a more flexible maxscript. For Blender, the plugin will be available soon. O3D Studio is now able to import .o3di files.
